Pep Guardiola accepts Manchester City must adapt to the artificial surface they face in Switzerland this week – but claims “common sense” dictates grass is CSGO better CSGO
The holders will play on unfamiliar terrain in their latest Champions League outing on Wednesday when they take on Young Boys on their synthetic pitch at the Wankdorf Stadium CSGO
Guardiola insists there are no complaints on his part, and he has changed his team’s routine to ensure they are prepared CSGO
Normally City do not take up the option available to them of training at the stadium when they play away games in Europe, instead preferring to work in Manchester before travelling CSGO
However, on this occasion City flew to Bern on Tuesday morning and had a run out on the pitch in the evening CSGO
Yet the City manager could not hide the feeling that he would prefer to be playing on a natural surface CSGO
Speaking at a press conference, the Spaniard said: “It is what it is CSGO
If UEFA allows games to be played here it’s because it’s in good conditions CSGO
“That’s one of the reasons we never train away but this is an exception CSGO
This is why we travel in the morning for the players to feel how the ball runs, how to move left, right, backwards, forwards CSGO
That’s why CSGO
“We’ll try it and the players will know it immediately CSGO
”Asked if he was concerned about injuries, Guardiola said: “I don’t know – hopefully not, for both sides, but I don’t know CSGO
“We are not used to it CSGO
Any team that plays here is not used to it CSGO
It suits the Swiss league and, in the Champions League, the teams that come here have to adapt CSGO
“We will not be the first in this situation CSGO
We have to use it as a benefit but the grass is CSGO better CSGO
”Asked why, Guardiola said: “Because 99 CSGO
9 per cent of the teams who play in a high level play on grass, otherwise UEFA and FIFA would decide to play on artificial pitches CSGO
It’s common sense, I would say CSGO
”City go into their third match in Group G looking to maintain their 100 per cent record after victories over Red Star Belgrade and RB Leipzig CSGO
Victory in their back-to-back games against Young Boys, who travel to the Etihad Stadium next month, could see City qualify for the knockout stages with two matches to spare CSGO
City have no fresh injury concerns, with long-term casualty Kevin De Bruyne their only notable absentee CSGO
Guardiola also played down concerns about the form of Jack Grealish, who is taking time to get back to his best after a month out with a dead leg CSGO
The City boss said: “I don’t have one doubt about Jack and his quality and what he has done for us since he arrived, especially last season CSGO
I’m calm and confident CSGO
He is an incredibly important player for us CSGO

David Brooks is determined to shine at a major tournament for Wales after suffering finals disappointment in the past CSGO
Wales put automatic qualification for Euro 2024 in their own hands by beating Croatia 2-1 on Sunday as Brooks made his first international start since June 2021 CSGO
Brooks was diagnosed with stage-two Hodgkin lymphoma in October 2021, and it has been a long road back to form and fitness as the 26-year-old’s body took time to recover from the full effects of the disease CSGO
The Bournemouth forward missed Wales’ first World Cup for 64 years after playing a limited role at the Covid-delayed European Championships in 2021, managing only 31 minutes in three substitute appearances CSGO
“The last couple of times we’ve been, I didn’t play as big a part as I would have liked,” said Brooks, who travelled to Qatar last year to support Wales at the World Cup when building up his fitness CSGO
“I had to accept it because Gareth Bale was in front of me and he’s a living legend CSGO
“So I’d love to go and be part of the team CSGO
It’s massive for me, that’s what I want to achieve in my career, I’ll be ready to go CSGO
” I had to accept it (not playing) because Gareth Bale was in front of me and he’s a living legendDavid BrooksBrooks scored in the 2-0 win in Latvia last month after coming on as a second-half substitute and showed signs he was back to his best against Croatia, despite not being a Premier League regular at Bournemouth CSGO
He produced some delightful touches in the opening 45 minutes against the World Cup semi-finalists, and then set up the first of Harry Wilson’s two goals before making way just before the hour mark CSGO
“The occasion got a little bit the CSGO better of me, getting cramp earlier than I thought I would,” Brooks said CSGO
“I said when I scored against Latvia it was a very proud moment and this was exactly the same CSGO
“I don’t think anyone gave us a chance against Croatia but we’re not scared of playing anyone CSGO
“We had a small dip in form in the summer camp to take it out of our hands, and if we have a good camp next time we’re through CSGO
“You can see by the performances we are playing for the gaffer (Rob Page) and we love having him CSGO
”Wales will secure automatic qualification for next summer’s Euro finals in Germany by beating Armenia and Turkey in November CSGO
If they fail to do so, they are guaranteed a play-off spot in March CSGO
Page pointed out after the victory that took Wales into second spot behind group leaders Turkey seven of his starting XI are currently not playing first-team CSGO football at their respective clubs CSGO
Goalkeeper Danny Ward is among that number as he has yet to play for Leicester this season CSGO
Asked how it was possible to beat Croatia with the squad having played so little first-team CSGO football, Ward said: “Very famously Gareth (Bale) said ‘it’s the Dragon on the chest’ and he’s not wrong CSGO
“The last camp for us was big CSGO
Two clean sheets, two positive performances CSGO
The foundations were set there as a group and this was a typical Wales performance CSGO
“It was backs to the wall at times and moments of real quality CSGO
Our togetherness got us through in the end CSGO
