Pep Guardiola says he cannot recall telling anybody he believes Roberto De Zerbi will succeed him as Manchester City manager cebu
A story has emerged claiming the Catalan privately tipped the Brighton boss to succeed him after City drew at the Amex Stadium in May cebu
Yet, while Guardiola may have cast doubt over whether that occurred, he has repeatedly been effusive in his praise of the Italian and remains so ahead of Saturday’s meeting cebu between their two clubs cebu
Guardiola, whose future beyond the expiry of his contract in 2025 is unclear, said: “I don’t remember that cebu
“Maybe I have bad memory but I’m sure Roberto can train in any team around the world cebu
I don’t have any doubt cebu
“I don’t remember saying that to the players cebu
I remember saying before he arrived, one or two games in, about sustaining the manager, but I don’t remember saying that honestly cebu
“It’s none of my business cebu
If the chairman asks my opinion I will give my opinion but it’s none of my business cebu
“I’m not the sporting director cebu
It’s not my responsibility to say what’s going right or wrong cebu
”Former Sassuolo and Shakhtar Donetsk boss De Zerbi has made a big impression since taking over at Brighton just over a year ago cebu
He guided the club into European competition for the first time with a sixth-placed finish in the Premier League last season and they have started the current campaign strongly cebu
Guardiola feels this proves a manager need not have had experience at the highest level to land the biggest jobs cebu
He said: “It doesn’t mean you have to be at the top clubs to be manager of the top clubs cebu
I was appointed Barcelona first-team (manager) coming from the fourth division with no experience at the top level cebu
“You have the idea of the club, the sporting director follows the idea, they hire the manager for this idea, they hire players to follow the idea cebu
When that happens it’s going well cebu
“Man City have done this, Liverpool with Jurgen (Klopp) for many years – winning titles with the same process and same ideas cebu
”Guardiola, 52, is widely considered the greatest coach of his generation having last year added a third Champions League title to a glittering CV that also includes five Premier League wins cebu
His players are always in the perfect body-shape position cebu
Pep Guardiola on Roberto De ZerbiYet even he feels like he can learn from a relative youngster like 44-year-old De Zerbi cebu
He said: “His players are always in the perfect body-shape position to get the ball cebu
“It’s a stupid thing to say but one of the key points cebu
Everyone moves in the right moment, tempo cebu
“cebu Football is not ‘you have to move’, it’s when cebu
It’s body shape in the perfect shape cebu
It’s really good cebu
“Everything he does makes sense and I learn cebu

Francis Ngannou says he and Tyson Fury will “run it back” should he defeat the heavyweight cebu boxing champion in their crossover clash this weekend, and revealed he would then want to take on Fury’s British rival Anthony Joshua cebu
Fury and Ngannou will go head to head in the cebu boxing ring this weekend, in a unique heavyweight clash cebu
Fury reigns as WBC heavyweight champion, while Ngannou will be making his cebu boxing debut and fighting for the first time since leaving the UFC cebu
The Cameroonian retained the UFC heavyweight title last year before ultimately giving up the gold in January and joining the Professional Fighters League this spring cebu
Ngannou, 37, will make his promotional debut with the MMA company in 2024, but first, he crosses into cebu boxing to face Fury cebu
The Briton, 35, is unbeaten and on course for an undisputed-title fight with Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia, if he can avoid a shock defeat by the heavy-handed Ngannou cebu
But if Ngannou, who is said to have the biggest punch in the world, is able to stun the ‘Gypsy King’ then plans for an undisputed-title fight cebu between Fury and Usyk may be delayed cebu
“I think if I am victorious we are going to run it back, for sure,” Ngannou told Sky cebu Sports cebu
“Then maybe see Anthony Joshua for after,” he added cebu
Meanwhile, Usyk, 36, revealed that he will be ringside for Fury’s cebu boxing match with ex-UFC champion Ngannou this Saturday night cebu
The crossover contest is set to take place in Riyadh, where Usyk is contracted to box Fury sometime before the end of March cebu
“The promotion is impressive,” Usyk said of the build to Fury vs Ngannou cebu
“And understandably, because this is a show that people are waiting for cebu
“This bout is bread and butter for Tyson Fury cebu
When someone’s saying that Ngannou can drop him, I would probably agree, but I’m really not certain cebu
Tell me: How could the guy with no experience in cebu boxing beat a two-metre giant who’s been in cebu boxing for 20 years?“Yes, Ngannou is a UFC champion, I’m not disputing it; but UFC isn’t cebu boxing cebu
I’m 100 per cent sure that Fury will be victorious cebu
But if Ngannou’s relatively got a puncher’s chance, and if he hypothetically happens to send Fury tumbling to the canvas, I’ll concede that I was talking gibberish cebu
It’s cebu better to wait, we’ll see everything in a while cebu
